Cleaning Cousins

Born and raised in Muskoka we have had the opportunity to watch our home town grow. Our names are Angela Plummer and Virginia Dempsey, and we are the Cleaning Cousins. Knowing that beautiful Cottage Country gets bigger every year we have decided to join our many years of experience and bring a much needed service to our community.

Virginia Dempsey - Starting out in grocery stores she gained many opportunities and 10 years of management skills. She attended management seminars and training conferences giving her management certificates. She started doing cleaning jobs on the side as a secondary income. After leaving the grocery industry she took employment with a convienence store that put her management skills back in use and gained another 4 years of experience. She has continued doing cleaning jobs on the side but has learned to mix her two halves together. She enjoys spending time with people, interacting with them and she has found that being able to provide a service, whether its cleaning, serving the public or just passing along a smile it gives her a great feeling of accomplishment.

Angela Plummer - Starting out as a receptionist with the Ontario government, Angela moved on to the resort industry 2 years later. Spending 15 years in multiple positions within the housekeeping department. Her last 4 years were spent as a Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Winning Deerhurst Resorts employee of the year in 2007, from her multiple positive guest comments. In 2010 Angela found herself serving 10 of the world leaders as Deerhurst hosted the G8 Summit. Angela like Virginia feels her greatest accomplishments are when she can see a smiling face on people she serves.
