CSCE Student Chapters have been involved in constructing and racing concrete canoes on the Canadian level since the middle of the 1990’s. The first Canadian National Competition came to fruition in Montreal, Quebec, during the summer of 1995. The Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition (CNCCC) is still possible in 2017 because of the collaboration of the CSCE and the CAC.
