This principle inspired the creation of Compose Health, a lumbar chronic pain management consulting and job coaching service. Using a multidimensional biomechanical approach, Compose Health assesses the full complement of exposures to identify trigger points causing musculoskeletal tissue overload. Personal body mechanics are incorporated in developing movement patterns to reduce external loads applied to the tissues to enhance load tolerance. Work capacity is then progressively enhanced through coaching movement technique and motor patterns to prevent future injury mechanisms. Consultation and coaching is based on the specific occupational environment, allowing for an individualized approach to managing chronic lumbar pain.
