CPC Nanaimo Club

The CPC club in Nanaimo is made up of working, retired, and student members of the Communist Party of Canada (CPC) living on traditional Snuneymuxw territory working to build a better community. We are anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, and anti-imperialist supporters of democracy, peace, equality, and national self-determination. Therefor, we support the Palestinians in their struggle against Israeli apartheid as well the Indigenous people in our own settler colonial state of Canada in the fight against continued oppression.

The Communist Party of Canada opposes neoliberal capitalism and is working towards a socialist future in the best interests of the working class. Capitalism, with it's many contradictions and inefficiencies, has been the main cause of war, poverty, and environmental destruction in the past century. the CPC recognizes this and the necessity of building a unified working class movement in Canada and the world to overthrow the current order and bring an end to imperialist exploitation here and abroad.
