In the centre of the city, four glass pyramids jut out from the river valley; this is the Muttart Conservatory, where visitors can take in the climate and flora of four separate climates. The Muttart is home to a thoroughly modern café where fresh greens and herbs are grown right in the Muttart Greenhouse.
The Culina Café is open for lunch with soups, salads, sandwiches, fresh-baked goods, and daily specials along with great espresso, craft beer and eclectic wines by the glass. The “award winning” Weekend Brunch features classics like eggs benny, breakfast burrito and classic French toast. The Café also purveys in-house made sauces, salad dressings, pickles and the ‘Jam Lady’ preserves. A beautiful garden patio is open from May to September.
