I have been a social worker working with children and families for over 14 years in the Toronto area. I believe in providing children and their parents with support to help understand each other, learn better communication skills and work toward healthy and open relationships. Through the use of empathy, mirroring and support I help parents navigate the challenging and rewarding world of raising children.

Children and teens often benefit from having a caring adult who is objective, while being dedicated to gaining insight, responsibility and motivation to take steps toward positive and happy friendships and relationships. Children have the unique challenge of having a significant range and depth of emotions, but sometimes limited skills to manage and understand those feelings. Through counselling and support children can gain the necessary skills to manage their feelings in an appropriate way.
