Bio

David was born in Sidney, Nova Scotia, on a cold October night in 1943. His father was the only barber in a coal mining town and his school was run by Catholic nuns.

At 15 he stole 17 dollars from a tire shop and was subsequently put in adult prison, being kept there after failing an IQ test that would have sent him to kid jail. His sentence was prolonged 6 months (in the hole) for disobeying a guard. By the end of what turned to be a one year incarceration the sentiment towards the government was formed and set in concrete. There was no nobility in the system so it was not a thing to be respected (which is funny because, looking at David now, he is one of the most staunch defenders of the Charter I've ever seen). By the time he was 25 he had spent 7 years inside.

Now, at 73, 4 wives and 9 children later, David has lived a life in constant, and half the time dramatic, struggle between his growing enlightenment regarding reality and the need to 'lie cheat and steal' to be able to sustain ourselves under a corrupt system. All this time his profession revolved around waste management in one way or another. Second hand stores and junk hauling. He has a way of turning garbage into gold.

He has been branded a 'fringe' candidate for almost the entire 30 years he has been engaged in civic reform. Essentially, the 'mainstream' media has adopted a constant level of slander, going so far as to construct a fake hoax story so as to deepen naively ignorant sentiment towards him (re: attempted defamation- https://youtu.be/WbS-rEYVBMA ) and indignantly passing him off as not a 'serious candidate'. There is no doubt a very old and established order here in Victoria that presumes the tourism industry sacred... and it will ignore, to the very last, any indication of economic collapse. So much so, that it's actions hasten the discontent. I mean, why isn't crack illegal. Its obviously not. I digress...

To elect David is to initiate the provincial acknowledgement of a state of emergency. We have to fix something that started hundreds of years ago and we have to do it without money.


Asked about Issues

HOMELESSNESS: a fake creation to keep real estate prices high. I am legally only allowed to have 4 unrelated people in my 7 bedroom 4 washroom house.

VICTORIA'S JOHNSON ST. CRACK HOTEL: What a stupid conclusion and manipulation of 13 million dollars. The place should be closed immediately.

FENTANYL: small pox in blankets for the addict.

MUNICIPAL DEBTS (Victoria's $100,000,000 Blue Bridge fiasco): a conscious form of terrorism.

NATIVE RELATIONS: I went to Ottawa with Alert Bay Chief Beau Dick and helped break the copper. There are no legitimate treaties in Canada. 'They' (the Crown) have no just claim to the land and I want a seperation of B.C. from Canada in this election. The creation of a Native Land Tax which will give the natives back legitimacy to the land.
