I am a Family and Portrait based in Vernon, BC, a city located in the heart of the beautiful Okanagan.

I was born and raised in southern Ontario in a small town of under a thousand people. I spent my childhood watching The Simpsons and the black and white version of The Three Stooges. We even sat around the dinner table every night for supper and discussed the events of our day. Who even does that anymore?

I made my way West in 2002 for a road trip. After driving for two days, I ended up in Calgary, and absolutely loved the city. Even though it was an enormous change in the population that I was used to, the people were very polite and had a small-town attitude to them.

OK, now fast forward a little. I worked in downtown Calgary, and this is where I met my future husband. Our meeting was very romantic... well, not so much, but hey, we were young. Him more so than me... yay, me!!! Ha ha.
That is a story for another time.

Anyway, we were dating for a few years, and he ended up taking a job based out of Vernon, BC. So we thought, “Heck why not... let's move to BC. So in much the same way I came to Calgary, we packed up and moved.

We Married in 2010 in his beautiful hometown of Fernie, BC. We have been happily together since the first day we met, which was his 19th Birthday!!!
We have been in the Okanagan since 2008, and the real question is “WHY DID WE NOT DO THIS SOONER!?"

After discovering my love for photography, I decided to go back to
school and become a professional Photographer. I established my business in 2014. I was almost 30 when I decided a career change was in order. I have since come to the conclusion that I will be a life-long student. The art of photography is ever-evolving, and you have to evolve with it.

We welcomed our first born in June, 2016, -- our beautiful daughter Spencer
and we added a little boy to the mix in February 2017--our Handsome man Brody

We love who we are. We love each other. We love where we live, and we love where we are in our lives. We're also looking forward to what else it has to bring us.
