Dejon Delights

Family owned and operated since 1984, Dejon Delights is proud to offer the finest Smoked Salmon, Halibut, and Black Cod available. We also carry a wide variety of Alaskan Made products. Our small custom smokehouse is nestled on the Chilkat Peninsula between two glacier-draped mountain ranges that surge 7,000 feet out of a Pacific fjord. We believe in supporting our community by buying our fish from local fisherman and providing jobs to year-round residents.

Unlike many smoke houses, Dejon Delights still practices the art of hand-crafted Smoked Salmon and Smoked Halibut. We start by carefully selecting our fish, hand-filleting them and treating them with meticulous care. Our Dry Brine process is the secret ingredient in creating this premium product. Smoked with birch shavings we get from local wood turners, it is the All Alaskan gourmet treat.

Our smokery and retail store is located on Portage Street in Haines, Alaska, just up from the cruise ship dock. While on your Alaskan vacation, be sure to stop in for a free sample of our products.
