I'm new to dog grooming, but not new to dogs! I've had at least one dog, pretty much constantly, from the moment I was born. I know dogs!
I have also fostered over 20 dogs with All Breed Canine Rescue. I don't currently have any fosters, but I now offer free grooming to any of the dogs in their care.
I believe in a crate-free environment for your dog to run and play in, prior to and after their grooming. My own dogs are here, and are all very social and playful.
Having said that, if I need to crate a dog, for the safety of the other dogs here, as well as it's own, a variety of crate sizes are available, each with fresh bedding, so they're comfortable.
Having my grooming studio in my home, with my dogs present, should have the effect of making your dog feel less stressed, making their grooming experience easier and more enjoyable for them!
If your dog, or a dog that know, is known to have trouble with being groomed, let me try grooming them. I'm always up for a challenge, and have found most "difficult" dogs aren't with me.
As my slogan says: "Send me your little gem, and I'll send you home with a "Diamond in the Ruff!"
