Discovery Lab Global

DLG is a not for profit organization that was founded on the 11+ years of success as Discovery Lab, which was an Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) program. We bridge the gap between high school and college undergrads by offering project based learning internships.

In our program students will research, collaborate, and create a project while learning soft skills and professional skills that better prepare them for future employment. Students not only get a jump-start on their academic career, they are also exposed to companies as potential workforce development and talent acquisition.

This program is for those who are motivated, dedicated and ready to take on a challenge.

There are several project tracks that students may choose from that are relevant and of interest such as: mobile apps, wearable technology, symphony software, etc. Projects are team based and are flex time/part time.

No prior experience is needed to participate. The program is a two stage 4 or 8 week program. During the first stage, students will participate in a virtual environment to learn the basics and start their research. In the second stage, students will take their knowledge base to complete their research projects - both in the virtual environment, as well as using hardware - if applicable.
