Dr. Robert Turner, B.Sc., M.D., F.R.C.S.C. has become the most recommended Board Certified Cosmetic & Plastic Surgeon serving Winnipeg. Dr. Turner has been in private practice since 1996. His current clinical practice is devoted 50% of the time to cosmetic surgery, while the remainder is comprised of general plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Turner specializes in surgery of the breast, abdominoplasty, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Turner is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Turner is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, where he completed his medical degree (MD) and residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Following his residency, Dr. Turner completed further sub-specialized training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Western Ontario, Hand and Upper Limb Centre.
With years of experience and knowledge, Dr. Turner has earned the privilege to educate future surgeons. He holds a faculty position with the University of Manitoba as lecturer. For several years, Dr. Turner was an Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, where he was responsible for examining and qualifying plastic surgery graduates.
