Eagle's Nest

2004 constructed, 2600 square foot, four bedroom cottage located in Eagle Harbour on the Shores of Lake Huron.

When you enter this cottage you're immediately hit with the feeling of light and space. The main living area located on the second floor has soaring 24 foot cathedral ceilings and large windows that provide a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Huron.

The main floor has a large open concept living area containing a living room, dining area with propane fireplace and large kitchen.

The Living area has one couch, a coffee table and three chairs. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area containing a wooden harvest table and six chairs.

Next to the dining area is a large fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, four breakfast bar stools and lots of counter and cupboard space.

The living room and dining area both have 8 foot sliding glass doors leading out to a 300 square foot lake side deck with a marvelous clear view of Lake Huron. On the deck there is a glass patio table, umbrella, six chairs and a stainless steel gas barbeque. This is a great place to sit and watch the world famous sunsets of Lake Huron, set directly in front of the cottage.

French terrace doors lead from the open concept living area to a large entertainment room with 42 inch flat screen television with satellite receiver, surround sound five speaker stereo system, two couches and great views of the lake.

Also on the main floor is a large kids bedroom with bunk beds. (Double on bottom and single on top) and a three piece bathroom with shower.

A really nice feature of this cottage is the large 300 square foot loft master bedroom. This room contains a queen size bed, cathedral ceilings,and large ensuite bathroom featuring a large tub with nice view of Lake Huron.

On the ground floor of the cottage are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a double. There is also a small den area. Also full laundry facilities, bathroom and garage.

The cottage is located on a private lot well screened from neighbouring properties and well set back from the road.. A trail leads from the front of the cottage down to a nice lake side deck with two Muskoka Chairs.

The shoreline consists of undulating limestone bedrock with some flat and rubble areas. The water gets deep fairly fast. Swim shoes are recommended.

The cottage is located on a paved road. Across the road forms part of the Bruce Peninsula National Park. It is a 12 km bike ride to Tobermory.
