Gaze out at the lake from almost all of the rooms. This home retreat offers a spacious open floor plan with beautiful vaulted cedar ceilings in the kitchen, dining and living rooms. The bedrooms can accommodate up to six people. The master bedroom includes a private master bath. The well-furnished kitchen has a breakfast bar with lake views. Appliances include, refrigerator, ceramic top stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The airy dining room opens into a large, bright sunroom solarium. The sunken living room has large picture windows, shiny hardwood floors, and a cozy wood stove. The attached, finished garage enters into a mudroom/entry room. The 200 feet of private waterfront includes an octagonal deck, an aluminum dock system, and a private boat launching area. Need A Hunting Or Fishing Guide ?
The grouse and woodcock hunting draws sports from all over the world including Italy. The bear hunting and trophy deer taken on both sides of the border near East Grand have set records. We can usually make arrangement for a hunting or fishing guide in the NB province or a Maine Guide to accommodate sports on the Maine side of the lake. The owner of this property is a Master Maine Guide and, time permitting, will guide sports on the Maine side of the lake. Both NB, as well as Maine guides have excellent grouse and woodcock pointing dogs. See the website link and services provided by Maine Guide Outfitter listed at the bottom of this ad.

Five Islands, with an active eagle nest and the most reputable fishing, is directly out front of this home. East Grand Lake has a world class reputation for it's salmon, brook trout, lake trout and smallmouth bass fishery, which are consistently caught a few feet off the shore of this residence. Paddle a kayak or drive your boat to a multitude of primitive campsites maintained by the NB province, as well as the State of Maine. East Grand Lake is one of the largest head-water lakes of the St. Croix River Watershed. Indians traveled this route leaving behind an abundance of artifacts, yet to be discovered along it's shores. Over 7/8 of the lake is remote, providing one with a truly unique experience with nature. Moose, deer and black bear sightings are very common in the area, affording the photographer plenty of opportunity to build a splendid wildlife gallery of photos to share with friends.One half rental rate "reservation deposit" requested to confirm reservation. Payment in full is required 1 week prior to reservation. An additional $200 security deposit is required and will be returned upon inspection by management. No pets.
