Eclipse Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of acupressure massage. The literal translation of Shiatsu is finger (shi) pressure (atsu). Traditionally Shiatsu is performed on a futon with the receiver fully clothed. Treatment can also be easily adapted to a massage table. The practitioners role is to facilitate and support healing in the receivers body by applying pressure along energy pathways called meridians. Shiatsu is a less invasive approach to working with meridians than acupuncture. Both have profound benefits to one's health and wellness.
