Emily Thiessen - Athletic Therapy

Emily Thiessen is a Certified Athletic Therapist and has been helping athletes of all levels perform at their best for the past 6 years. Athletic therapists adhere to the Sport Medicine Model of care, treating a wide range of patients, with a wide range of abilities. Emily is trained in the prevention, assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries; with a focus on getting people back to their desired activity level or past it. Emily will use various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription and even bracing and taping to help you reach your goals. The treatment varies but the objective doesn’t: an Athletic Therapist's goal is to help clients return to an active lifestyle.
