Unsettled by the rising prices of Private Acupuncture (making getting treatment more than once in a (long) while impossible) + unimpressed by the lack of one-on-one attention and (somewhat) grotty Community Clinic options, Registered Acupuncturist and TCMP Anne Matthews created Energy Tree Acupuncture as a hybrid of two (traditional) Acupuncture models.

At Energy Tree, Patients start by getting an initial 30 minute assessment before getting treatment. Acupuncture treatment is based on the unique results of the assessment. If you have deep rooted health concerns, fertility issues or a chronic disorder - for the best results, you will likely need to come in for regular treatment a couple of times a week. If your primary concern is health maintenance, acute orthopaedic injury or the occasional bout of insomnia, you might only need to get treatment a couple of times a month (or whenever you feel the need). Treatments are done in a common room that has been set up like a gallery/greenhouse. Lying in luxurious recliners, and unlike most other community models, patients receive private treatment facing away from each other. At this point, it's up to the patient whether they want to fall asleep, look up through the skylight, check out the horticulture (the clinic is home to over 60+ air purifying plants) or admire the art created and hung by local Toronto artists.
