Evangel Temple Church

Evangel Temple was established in 1927 during the excitement of the early 20th century Pentecostal revivals. The Church thrived and grew quickly under Godly and capable leadership. Marked by enthusiastic evangelism, fresh revival, fervent prayer, and excellent music, Evangel Temple became a recognized and leading congregation in Toronto and all of Canada.

During the 1970s, “The Temple” joyfully embraced the Charismatic Renewal and continued to advance while maintaining its historic distinctives. During the following decades, the Lord further strengthened the Church’s place of visibility and leadership in the Christian community and beyond.

Throughout the years, Evangel Temple’s pulpit hosted many renowned preachers of the day. And this tradition continues! The pulpit of Evangel still resounds with powerful, anointed, relevant, life-changing ministry. The established pattern of souls being saved, sick bodies being healed, broken and ruined lives being restored, along with exciting and excellent music ministry in a “Holy Ghost Revival” atmosphere carries on.
