Explorers' Preschool and Before & After School Care

Preschool:
Explorers Preschool offers children time to discover, learn, and play within a nurturing environment. We offer an introduction to French through play. Classes are taught by a teacher with a Bachelor of Education and Play and Exploration Certificate. We do NOT require parent involvement but parents are welcome in the room at all time! Educational field trips are throughout the year. Two and three day classes run from September to May following the school calendar.

Classes:
1. Children must be three years old by November 31 of the current school year or older and be fully potty trained to enroll:
A. Wednesday/Friday 9:15 to 11:30 am class
C. Tuesday/Thursday 9:15 to 11:30 am class

2. Children must be four years old by January 31 of the current school year and be fully potty trained to enroll:
A. Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1:00- 3:15 pm class
B. Or any 3 year old class listed above.

Fee Structure:
• Tuition is $130/month for 3 day/week or $90/month for 2 day/week.
• A $100 special event fee for each preschooler.

Subsidies for preschool tuition are offered through the Saskatoon Preschool Foundation (www.spf.sk.ca/).

There is one time $30.00 non-refundable Explorers registration fee for each family.

Explorers Before & After School Care is offered on a fee for service use, with limited enrollment, for school aged children at Cardinal Leger School (Kindergarten and up). Hours of operation will be 7:00 till 8:45 and 3:30 till 6pm. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for children before and after school. The activities are led by qualified leaders and are based on participant’s interests.
Care for every family’s needs:

• Before and After School $ 190.00/month
• Before School Care $ 100.00/ month
• After School Care $ 130.00/ month
• Kindergarten Care $ 105.00/month (Includes mornings and afterschool on KG days.)
• Prepaid Casual Card $135 for 25 hours


* Fees are pre-paid monthly with 10 postdated cheques or one for casual card.
* Prepaid casual care users are charged a minimum of one hour and additional time is rounded to half hours.
* First and second child of the same family the above rates apply but for 3rd/ 4th child the rate is 25%.
* Priority care is given to regular users, there are a limited number of casual care spots open daily.

Explorers School’s Out Day Camps are offered on professional development days and other dismissal days that are not statutory holidays. Children who don’t regularly attend the Explorers Care can register for these days. The hours are 7:30-6 pm.
School’s Out Explorers Day Camps - $30/day and $ 25 for additional siblings.
