Farmgate Fabrication manufactures Superior Bale Feeders. Ron and Marilynn Ray started the company in April of 1999. While raising cattle himself, Ron found the feeders he purchased were inferior, they wasted a lot of hay and were easily damaged by animals and equipment used to move them. He became innovative and designed and manufactured feeders for his own use. When friends and neighbors commented on his products, it soon became apparent that there was probably a large market for quality feeders. Checking with local ranchers, he found that they wanted and needed feeders that were strong, durable, easy to use, affordable, and cost effective.
