I LOVE Montessori!!

This teaching method and learning has been my career as an AMI trained Montessori teacher for the past 25 years plus.

I was a Montessori child too and till today I remember my classroom. When I was been trained as a teacher, our sensorial instructor brought in the Knobbed cylinders to explain and teach us how to work with it as a part of our training. Before even she started the lesson I was able to remember everything how my Montessori teacher showed it to me. That is how much I loved my Montessori education.

Both my children were Montessori educated. Why I say ‘were’ is because they are both now grownups. They have done well in their education and social life. We have traveled and moved our children about and they have settled in well with all the changes. That is I believe the confidence and the independence they got at their young age, with Montessori education.

With time I have come to think of combining my second love to the first. That is sewing and creating to Montessori and child development. That is how I came up with these projects.
