Feluch Glass

Working in two very diverse mediums - hot formed blown glass and oil painting, Robyn Feluch has her art in collections around the world. She makes her home in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies just outside of Calgary, Alberta. Robyn is passionate about her art, her horses, her family and her friends. She enjoys the western lifestyle and considers herself “a good, clean cut, country gal. If asked, she would not be able to choose between glass or painting, as both are such an important part of who she is.

Artist Statement: The soul is the foundation of every living being. For centuries the belief, in the incorporeal form has persisted and has been the subject of literature, and scientific studies. Despite the modern world’s need to dismiss the soul, the belief in the souls has persisted. However the nature of the soul is still unknown. Some of the many questions that are yet to be answered successfully are; what is the nature of souls, how do they effect and create each living being and who has a soul?


Robyn current art is focused on the nature of animal’s souls and the symbolism surrounding the natural soul. She has studied extensively, the lore behind our beliefs about the soul and has found that study to be instrumental in her art work. She uses the knowledge of the colors associated with certain traits of the animals to allow the viewer to reflect on the nature of souls.
