I have also made them for babies in southern California in 100% cotton and minky fabric. The head role is removable for when the baby grows, this car seat insert will fit in the new car seats with a three point harness. Any car seat with a five point harness needs to have holes put in at the seat area, a very simple alteration. The top part of the insert is removable by two zippers for easy access, or if your babies asleep. Half inch loft filling from the warm company for comfort and warmth. Flannelette is 100% cotton, as is the cotton knit. Completely washable. Fits infant to 8 months. Shoulder to feet, 29 inches. Can be transferred to a stroller when car seat has become outgrown.
