The first five years of your child’s life are critical for his/her development. The relationships and experiences your child has in these years helps to shape how they learn, how they grow, and who they will become as adults.

Your child’s brain develops faster in the first five years than any other time in his/her life. This development includes physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural growth, and is influenced by the environment in which your child grows and the relationships they develop.

Here at First Five Child Care, we understand the importance of these first five years. We offer a stimulating environment to help your child develop physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually through a simplistic Waldorf inspired, mixed with preschool learning, atmosphere. We also understand the importance of your child’s early relationships and how these relationships create experiences that teach your child about the world. Each child is unique and will be treated as such as they develop their own relationships with the caregivers here at First Five Child Care. After all, it is these early relationships that are the foundation for your child’s healthy development.
