CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

F.U.N INTRO TO FITNESS:
The INTRO class welcomes ALL fitness levels and the lower intensity program design is highly effective for weight loss. It awards people the opportunity to ease back into fitness by activating dormant muscle groups through a series of strength training circuits, releasing overactive muscle tension through advanced body care techniques and gradually improving cardio vascular health. This class provides a F.U.N group setting however a very intense focus is placed on proper technique in order to create good movement pattern habits. We encourage all beginners to start with this class. There is no better time for a life changing experience!

FREAK UV NATURE BOOTCAMP:
BOOTCAMP is a super high intensity combination of aggressive cardio and strength components with very little rest, designed to challenge and push you to your limits all while focusing on quality technique. Famous for always providing a killer group workout with all the benefits of personal training, BOOTCAMP is the perfect class for the athlete in you!

GROUP STRENGTH TRAINING:
Learn how to build healthy lean muscle mass without getting “too big”. In this class you will be coached through a progressive and highly technique oriented strength training program in a fun and motivational small group setting. You will learn the benefits of building lean muscle in association with weight loss goals and how being stronger can aid you in almost everything else you do in your life. Resistance training is probably the least understood of all training styles for the average person and this class will allow you to receive a lot of the benefits of one on one personal training without the associated cost.

H.I.I.T
This class is actually a play on HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING as that would typically apply to athletes. This class is geared more towards the average person looking to lose weight and utilizes more of a VARIABLE INTENSITY approach, allowing for the appropriate intervals of work vs rest based on the class ability. Recovery vs. workload time is critical in this class. It is fast moving but offers a wide variety of activity for the A.D.H.D in you!!!!

CORE CRUSH
Whether you are looking to restore your bladder after the joys of giving birth OR rock that 6 pack for summer, this class is a progressive and aggressive 30 minute attack on both superficial and beneficial abdominal muscles.

F.U.N KIDS BOOTCAMP:
This F.U.N and challenging class is designed to teach kids body awareness. They will learn how to connect to their bodies and control their movements which is a great foundation for any sport. Strength, flexibility and balance will be fundamental elements of this class and the kids will be called upon to build trust in their bodies and their peers through confidence building skills and activities.

BODY CARE/MOBILITY:
An intense physical, investigative and explorative class, dedicated to the discovery of stored tension in the body, how this restricts your mobility and strength and leads to injury. This class covers a variety of techniques such as myofascial tissue softening, passive stretch, rolling and active release through movement. You are sure to learn things about your body that will shock you and you will leave feeling 10 lbs lighter and motivated to take the health and freedom of movement of your body into your own hands.

SENIORS:
A low intensity group class for seniors, designed to improve strength, mobility, cardiovascular health, bone density and overall mental and emotional wellness through a series of gentle resistance training as well as active body weight movement and body care techniques. Come get your FREAK on!!!!!

ZUMBA: is an intense but fun and fancy-free way to explore exercise through movement. ZUMBA uses music and Latin dance elements to improve one’s mental, emotional and physical health.

YOGA: Is an excellent way to synchronize your mind, body and soul through a series of gentle poses designed to bring the spine in to alignment and create space in your muscles and between your busy thoughts. If you are looking to de-stress or improve your body function, this is the class for you.
