Welcome to our NEW facebook page for the Friendly Fermentor in Orillia, ON.
Our store is a wine making on premise which means that you can have your wine made by us and after 4-8 weeks you'll come in to bottle your wine. Every batch of wine gives you approximately 30x750ml bottles for a fraction of the price you pay at the liquor stores. We guarantee the quality of our wines and many wines we sell have won awards at competitions across the country. This isn't to be confused with "homemade" that people start from scratch at home. The concentrate is sourced from the same wineries that supply the stores. Wineries aren't able to use everything they produce and most of the extra supply is purchased and ultimately ends up here.
We offer gift certificates, wine making supplies, and carry array of Onyx and Coral wine goblets.

The Friendly Fermentor is owned and operated by John. John has been a chef for over 40 years and resided in Simcoe County for the last 16 years. Owning a wine store was an easy choice for John after his experience in fine dining and catering. Many of our customers become friends and we strive to offer a welcoming atmosphere. We take pride in our products and use only reverse osmosis water in your wine. We keep current on industry changes and demands. New customer perks...ask us for details.
