Future of Africa

Leadership is a fundamental problem in Africa. Africa needs new leaders who are innovative, people-centered and driven by sound moral values to take action. These leaders must believe in the equal value of all human lives and the potential to create positive change by solving issues in their own local communities. Africa’s new leaders must demonstrate a commitment to make Africa better now and for future generations.

Young people can lead Africa’s transformation if they are empowered to take responsibility for the issues they see around them. Our vision is simple; A people-centered transformation in Africa led by young people.

Leadership is sacred. It is a moral responsibility to serve people and make their lives better. It is a calling to solve systemic social and economic inequities that impact the wellbeing of communities. The mission of Future of Africa is to mentor young leaders passionate about social justice; to cultivate within students the values of service, compassion and justice, and the persistence to solve problems in their communities. We achieve this by immersing students ages 15-25 years in high-impact community engagement programs, to encourage them to think critically about the world they live in and their role to make it better for future generations.

Our community engagement programmes provides pathways for children and youth living in the streets of Accra and improves the quality of education for children in the South-Tongu district of the Volta-Region.
