Meets regularly for planning sessions, workshops, crafting parties and more! Attending meetings is entirely optional.
Assists members to set up high quality Etsy Shops that can also appear on www.activeislands.com, local arts collective websites, artist websites and www.galianoisland.com
Believes that with a concerted effort and using our pooled knowledge along with expert advice we can give our shops their best chance at becoming profitable and meet members' artistic and financial goals
Supports local boutiques by linking to their websites, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and works closely with shop owners in advertising efforts (also assisting with stock and pricing strategies)
Will put together it's own unique charter
Will put together it's own unique visual identity (logo, bling), voice (slogans, texts, mascots, etc)
Employs a Team Captain who:
Provides support, updates content, facilitates workshops, edit photographs, coordinate advertising and search optimization activities and, in general, nurtures and manages the team's efforts
Timeline
Phase I: Funded Nurturing...local funding for a Team Captain to manage start up efforts
Phase 2: Member-supported...fund the Team by membership fees and / or commissions (or another method)
Phase 3: Profits...develop a model where original funding is re-paid and profits are shared
