Sarab Nematy certified Gemmologist earned his certificate with the Canadian Gemmoligical Association after being given a graduation gift by his father: a trip to Brazil. There he realized the potential to later attend college here in Toronto, which was followed by the opening of his business: Gem Capital. The name is in reference to Brazil, being one of the international capitals of gems, having the most variety, quality and quantity of stones.

Having been captivated by these precious stones on this vacation of a lifetime, Gem Capital has been open and available to the public in Canada for the last 7 years. Attending shows such as The annual Bancroft Rockhound Gemboree, the Taste of the Danforth and The Canadian National Exhibition, The Toronto Gem Show, and several others.
