My professor and I were discussing a theory one morning when we arrived at a pause. The professor asked the logic behind my reasoning. I stated that it was common sense. The professor countered with “It should be called good sense, common sense isn’t that common anymore.”

That quote resonated with me over the past 10 years and has inspired the name GoodSenseGroup.

In 2010 I founded GoodSenseSafety. This company strictly focused on occupational health and safety consulting in the Oil and Gas sector. Good Sense Safety consulted with large energy companies such as Husky Energy and safety service providers such as Highmark Safety Solutions and Fort Mac Safety. The experience and knowledge gained has been invaluable which has guided me to where I am at today.

In 2016 with the Oil and Gas sector marred in a deep 2 year recession I unfortunately had to suspend Good Sense Safety after 6+ years of successful operations. Over the past year I have continued to work in the health and safety field for a local contractor and have also continued with professional development. I have obtained a private investigators license and have begun the process to obtain the Canadian Registered Safety Professional certification. I have a new focus and a new business model to launch GoodSenseGroup. GoodSenseGroup is a diversified consulting company which focuses on 3 main pillars;
