Gravenhurst Youth at Heart Drop-In

YMCA offers a variety of youth leadership opportunities that develop life skills training, education enrichment, health and wellness, recreation and international awareness. The Recreation Arts & Culture Department and the Gravenhurst YMCA are working together to offer this program to youth in Gravenhurst in collaboration with the Youth at Heart program. This is part of the YMCA Youth Leadership Development Grant and is open to youth in our community free of charge. Do you want to make new friends? Participate in different activities? Build your confidence and skills for the future? Help your community? Feel even better about yourself? If so, the Youth Leadership Development Program is for you. Designed especially for youth between 11 and 18 years old, the program takes the best of today?s youth and helps them become the leaders of tomorrow. YLD combines leadership training, teamwork, self-government to help build confidence ? and connections. Course costs are covered by the YMCA Youth Leadership Grant.
