Gubug Makan Mang Engking in Ungaran serves traditional Indonesian seafood cuisine. Other than the great food, the restaurant also highlights its phenomenal atmosphere and surrounding. The restaurant can accommodate up to 500 people and is divided into two major parts. The upper part of the restaurant is the old colonial-style building with its garden terrace which can seat up to 350 people. If you go down the hill, you will see the lower part of the restaurant which features bungalows and a beautiful pond in the centre surrounded by green paddy fields. The bungalows are designed in traditional style of Javanese house with bamboos and haystack roof. You can definitely enjoy our delicious meals while breathing the fresh air of paddy fields around the restaurant. A small Organic Grocery is also featured near the entrance for those who love to have it all organic! Lastly the stunning scenery of the Ungaran Mountain, can be viewed from anywhere around the restaurant.
