The Gurdwara Khalsa Parkash Windsor is managed by the executive committee (EC) of the The Sikh Cultural Society of Metropolitan Windsor (SCSMW), with the support of SCSMW active members and the congregation. The EC focuses on youth and overall community development.
The Gurdwara serves the community of 1,000-1,100. The building consists of a large congregation hall, a main entrance and a dining hall with kitchen. The kitchen is organized by volunteers who cook for members and visitors. The Gurdwara offers food and shelter for worshipers and all visitors.
The Gurdwara hosts religious events, educational and cultural activities and takes part in many community initiatives. Some of the educational activities include workshops, symposiums, lectures, camps, etc.
The EC also works hard to integrate Sikh community with other communities. It participates in the community with activities such as the Canada Day parade and volunteers at the Downtown Mission and Street Help.
