Haggerty Farms

Haggerty Farms is our way of giving back and the plan is for the vegetable portion of our farm to largely go to the food bank. In order to do this we have costs that we are trying to offset by selling some of the produce. Our goal for this year is to give 75% of the produce away.
We are not certified organic because we don't want to go through all of the red tape but no pesticides or herbicides are used. The fertilizer is provided by the chickens and a neighbour's horses while the weed control is provided by our family and volunteers.
We also have free range eggs and chickens for sale but these we sell first and any surplus goes to the food bank. We currently have a few spots open for weekly customers as we have increased our flock so if you are interested in being a weekly customer of free range eggs ($4 a dozen) just let us know.
