The Hamilton City Centre (formerly the Eaton Centre) is a centrally located property that fronts along James Street North and York Blvd in the heart of Hamilton’s Downtown Core. The downtown core has undergone major changes within the last 5 years, including the complete renovation of City Hall from top to bottom. Other renovations consisted of the historic Lister Block, the Hamilton Library, and the Farmers Market (adjacent to the Hamilton City Centre). The majority of James Street North has recently been redeveloped and is now bustling with shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Conversion of York Blvd from one-way to two-traffic and streetscaping was also completed including a new and additional HSR transit stop at the Hamilton City Centre’s York Blvd entrance.
