HARMONY YOGA PILATES STUDIO offers yoga classes in classical Hatha Yoga (physical postures, breathing techniques, meditation & relaxation), Yoga Therapy and Pilates classes to build the core, improve strength and stamina.

HATHA BEGINNER YOGA – Class focused to those students who are new to yoga. Learn to link the breath with movement and increase flexibility, strength and balance. You will learn to relax, rejuvenate and experience yourself in a new way with asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra.

HATHA MIXED YOGA – Class is open to all levels of students from beginners to those with more experience. Asana including inversions, core strengtheners, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra.

HATHA ESTABLISHED YOGA – Class geared towards continuing students who have a solid foundation in yoga. Includes asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra to deepen the experience of your yoga practice.

RESTORATIVE YOGA – Class includes restorative postures that include the use of many props to support and add comfort for the body. The more fully your body is supported the deeper your sense of relaxation will be. This yoga practice will leave you well-nourished and well-rested.

PILATES – Class focuses on breath awareness to build core strength and stamina (props used).

PILATES/RELAX - Class focuses on breath awareness to build core strength and stamina (props used) with an added relaxation component (Yoga Nidra).

PILATES/YOGA FUSION – Combined class of mat pilates and yoga to build core strength, improve balance, increase flexibility and rejuvenate your body/mind with relaxation (Yoga Nidra).

PRENATAL YOGA – Class for pregnant women who want to increase body and breath awareness, in preparation for childbirth.

POSTNATAL YOGA - Mom & Baby Yoga class to help the Mom restore her body back to its’ original strength and tone.

MANTRA YOGA – FREE class for those who wish to experience the spiritual/devotional aspect of yoga. Practice of Sanskrit japa and a short meditation and mudra to achieve the bliss of yoga.

YOGA TEACHER RYT200 TEACHER TRAINING – 200 Hour Program registered with Yoga Alliance. Program includes philosophy study with Patanjai Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita, kriyas, pranayamas, mediation, mantras and mudras. Students design lesson plans for beginners featuring all six poses (twists, forward bends, back bends, side bends, balance poses, inversions). Also includes vinyasa yoga and sun salutations.

YOGA THERAPY RYT300 TEACHER TRAINING – 300 Hour Program for yoga teachers who have completed their RYT200 to achieve RYT500 status with Yoga Alliance. Yoga Therapy usually includes working with students on a one-to-one basis or in a small group setting. Therapy is prescribed on an individual basis to meet student's needs, to benefit their healing process and create body balance. Students are prescribed different asanas, pranayamas, mudras, meditations and other relaxation techniques to increase the flow of prana & energy. Mantra Therapy is also prescribed for healing, abundance and removal of obstacles to help with physical, mental and emotional difficulties.
