Help Me Help Others - For The Love of Missions.

Hi,

My name is Jessica and I want to make a difference in the world.

Ever since I was about 5 years old, God gave me a dream about helping others in foreign countries as a missionary.

I have since realized that many SUFFER in poverty. They starve for food and have terrible living conditions. Women and children are sexually exploited. People are forced into hard labour; they are hopeless and don't know what a good, fair life is.

I want to make my life count by bringing hope to the hopeless.

I want to open people’s eyes to see by bringing more of awareness to people in Canada and the United States about the terrible conditions these people live in so that together we can PRAY and HELP.

I have an opportunity to bring hope to the hopeless and to make people aware of others needs and to share my faith so that people – regardless of age or nationality, will understand.

Just recently I was accepted to a school called, YWAM, Youth With a Mission. YWAM is one of the largest Christian charitable organizations in the world. Their purpose is simply, “to know God and to make Him known”.

YWAM for the past 50 years have united Christians from many denominations who desire to be part of changing people's lives and have responded to the Great Commission of Jesus - "go into all the world and tell the good news."

They help by training people, like me, to tap into their God given gifts and learn to use them in the mission field, locally or afar.

I want to use my God given talents, abilities and spiritual gifts to see lives CHANGED with the message of the gospel, informing others and to care for those in need. I want to be the "hands and feet" of making God known in practical and creative ways.


This program involves training and outreach. After my formal and hands on training in Toronto I will be travelling with the team to Europe or Asia.


I am so excited that my DREAM is being fulfilled to be involved in missions and I am looking forward to see how God will move in my life and others.

Please help me do what I was called to do. I am asking you, all my friends, family and fellow believers for your support.

FIRST, you can support me in PRAYER, throughout the training and mission’s project, Including favour, compassion for the lost, creative ideas, strength and finances. At this time I need to raise $6000, and that is quite a challenge!

Another way you can help me is to provide the financial support. Please pray and give how you feel led. I will need to raise all my funds before I leave March 21, 2011 for Toronto. The funds are for training school, room and board, outreach and airline tickets.

Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, all of your support is appreciated.
