The Hungry Rooster is Janina and Paulina Tokarski, mother and daughter building a perogie empire. Janina's Polish heritage guides her in the commercial production and distribution of perogies. Paulina's combined Polish and Canadian upbringings are at the heart of the success of the innovative Hungry Rooster food truck in Victoria, BC and at events throughout British Columbia.

We're passionate about the fusion of Eastern European with worldwide flavors. Our food is homemade with fresh ingredients because we believe local is best. The meats are ethically sourced from BC farms and raised without hormones or antibiotics. Hungry Rooster perogies are made with love on British Columbia islands from a secret family recipe. We use biodegradable packaging and recycle whenever we can for minimal impact on our beautiful planet. People love our homemade perogies and they follow us to get more of them.
