Island Mountain Development Group

Island Mountain Development Group (IMDG) is a Limited Liability Corporation established by the Gros Ventre and Assiniboine Nations to become the economic development arm. IMDG is strategic and innovative when taking on new ventures to expand their services to their community as well as to grow employment and workforce for the Gros Ventre and Assiniboine Nations. IDMG has the ability to review and see not only what they are good at but also see their weaknesses and grow from their weaknesses to expand their opportunities. IMDG has a streamlined understanding of the services that they offer and the future direction that the economic development corporation wants and needs to take in the future. We work cooperatively with the Tribe and collaborate on economic development projects, but we are completely self sufficient and receive no funding from the Tribe. In addition, we have a profit- sharing agreement with the Tribe and we pay quarterly dividends to the FBIC. In 2013, we have paid $60,000 in estimated dividends to the FBIC.
