Jason Corbett has been a respected and dynamic presence in the Vancouver music scene for over 20 years, first as a musician and now as a skilled producer, mixer and engineer.

After emerging from his mother’s basement as a young, longhaired shredder, Jason went on to hone his songwriting and performing talents in bar rooms and on festival stages across North America.
He’s since cut his hair, but it’s these long hours spent in the rock’n’roll trenches that make Jason more than a knob twiddler. He knows how to inspire the magic performances in people, how to make the studio a truly creative, collaborative experience, and how to maintain the vision and integrity of the artists he works with. He knows because he can relate.

Whether composing for film and television, crafting a remix, or working with bands, from pre-production through to final mixing and mastering, Jacknife Sound is Jason’s home base.
