I believe in authentic fitness, rather than the appearance of fitness. Authentic fitness is the only outcome worthy of the training my clients commit to and endure, and it is the only path to better health of mind, body and spirit. I don’t believe in excuses. I believe in fearless honesty with yourself. Life is not forgiving, particularly to those trying to justify inaction. Life is multi-dimensional, and that is how I show my clients to approach healthy living. This is the core of my training philosophy. I tell them to do something new, something good for themselves, and they will be rewarded on many levels.
The secret to helping my clients actualize their fitness goals is not measured in reps or sets. It goes beyond mechanics and is far more important than technique. It is what separates a Fitness Professional from a DVD
workout series. It is the human factor. Fitness is more than following a routine and directions to perfection. As a Fitness Professional, I influence my clients not only in their execution of a workout, but also in their intention of healthy living. Fitness becomes art when ones understanding of theoretical knowledge becomes intertwined with life experience. It cannot be forced. This does not happen overnight and it does not come solely from reading. It comes from doing, from living and experiencing. It comes from trying. To master this, as in everything you do in life, you must do it well and to the fullest
