We have the goats for milk, meat, soap and cheese. In the last 4.5+ years we have learned about the wonder of goats and their milk and what can be done with it. I currently have 8 goats in our permanent herd - a mature Alpine doe named Marley, Sweet Pea a mature Saanen/Kiko doe, and the newest members of the trip - HIGHLANDCROFT Green Erbium EFX is the new herdsire . The does are as follows - TIP TOP SAMSON SLOAN, TIP TOP PETER DAFFY , TIP TOP DJANGO POPPY, and JISTA MINUTE DEUTZ DEMETER JISTA MINUTE AGRONS' EMBER . Their call/barn names are as follows Mr. Green, Smartie, Daffy, Duetz, Ember and Poppy. They are all purebred, registered toggenburgs. Eventually that's all we are going to be raising for goats are toggenburgs. I'm super excited and pleased with the quality of these beautiful animals. As they say the best has just begun and they fit in with the rest of the animals around here. Such as my two horses Murphys Marius Major and Sasha - both purebred, registered Norwegian fjord horses. And our Jersey x Angus cow named Dixie.
