Jolly Hearts Childcare Centre

Jolly Hearts is a small, licensed, multi age centre located in the Interurban/ Marigold area. We are outdoor based and follow an emergent curriculum. We follow integrated philosophies including Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio Emilia.

My name is Joni and I'm the owner/ educator at Jolly Hearts . I've been working in child care for 10 years and absolutely love what I do!
It's my pleasure to work with your little ones and with your family.
I follow peaceful / gentle parenting practices and am working on becoming an accredited attachment parenting leader. My gentle philosophy follows through into my centre and work with children.
I also practice non-violent communication and have participated in many courses related to N.V.C.

Here at Jolly Hearts I aim to create a loving and nurturing environment where play and exploration are the corner stones of our centre. We spend lots of time outdoors ( rain or shine) and are a screen free centre.

I follow the children's cues and interests when it comes to creating curriculum. I believe learning is happening all the time and so I create an environment that is conducive to exploring. As any good program should be, we are play focused!
The children are here to have fun, be with their friends and learn from their surroundings.
