Body sugaring is an ancient form of hair removal that dates back as far as the Egyptian empire. There are two modern techniques to sugaring: strip sugaring and the hand removal method. At Kara's Sugar Cube, the hand removal method is used. This is the superior and preferred method of body sugaring. This method involves using a thicker consistency of sugar that can be manipulated by hand. The sugar is gently applied and massaged on to the skin by the hand. It is then quickly flicked off, removing only dead skin cells and the entire hair from root to tip. Body sugaring can be used to remove all hair on the body except head hair and beards. It is also the superior method of removing hair compared to strip body sugaring, waxing, electrolysis, laser treatment, depilatories and other home hair removal remedies, tweezing and threading.
