Kathy Mascia School of Dance

We promote a fun and positive environment for students who want to pursue their dreams and passion for dance.

We offer AIDT (Association of International Dance Teachers) and RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus from ages 5 and up.
The curriculum was created to focus on correct technique as well as improving performance skills. This creates a strong foundation for a well rounded dancer.
In June an examiner from South Africa comes to our studio to examine students on their AIDT Jazz and Tap grades.

Our Stretch and Strength classes focus on creating a limber but strong dancer. We also work on leaps and turns in this class.

Our Choreography class covers a variety of different styles of dance over the course of the year. Some styles include Jazz funk, lyrical, hip-hop and contemporary. This class is only offered to intermediate to advanced students.

Groups who we feel are ready will be picked to dance in competitions.

In June dancers have the opportunity to perform in our year end recital at the Tidemark Theatre.
