Hi and thanks for visiting my page!
A little bit about me:
I relocated to the Pass this past year from Lethbridge. Before moving I worked as a therapist at Mental Health. I have a bachelors degree in social work, and a masters degree in Clinical (therapy focused) Social Work.
My approach to therapy is very client centred. I believe that everyone comes with their own unique experience, knowledge and strength. My approach is one of working along side you; hearing, understanding, and accepting you. Empowering you to overcome or cope with the struggles you face.
Everyone has a different idea of what they would like from therapy, some wanting solely to be heard and understood and others seeking direction and guidance. Your sessions will be customized to you and the concerns you seek therapy for.
The main theories I operate by are Rogerian, Narrative, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. When working with couples I use Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as pulling from John Gottman's research.
