Kerry's Creative Painting and Signs

A love of painting & creating, combined with an urge to re-use and re-create gave me the 'tools' in my early retirement to fulfill my days, and provide a service. A discarded painting, an out of date piece of furniture or piece of wood or metal becomes my 'canvas' to create something new. I have a few items on display/for sale at our local Home Hardware, as well as in Whimsy Hair Salon & Gifts on Main Street. I do custom orders, on your item, and examples of my work can be seen in the photos here. Along with several milkcans, I've also done wooden adirondack chairs, lawn and garden signs, door welcome signs, re-painting of garden decor, as well as a couple of local business display signs. (Ailsa Craig & Area Food Bank, and Turnbull's Heating/Cooling.) I've even been asked to do the embossed lettering on vehicles-a truck, 2 antique tractors, and a riding lawn mower!! No idea you may have is out of the question, I'm willing to try anything. As an artist, (I am still 'wrestling' with that term), it is hard to price your services, so I give an estimate on custom orders as they are presented to me, depending on the amount of detail, time involved.
