A TRADITION OF HEALING
For centuries the oil rendered from emu fat has been used by the Aborigines of Australia to soothe the pains of arthritis as well as an emollient for dry skin. Emu oil with it’s deep penetrating and healing qualities was also used to help heal the skin from burns, cuts and abrasions.

Emu oil is now being seen and used in Burn Units, Sport Centers, Massage and Chiropractic Therapists, Beauty Salons and in many households across Canada and the World.

The mysteries of the emu oil appear to be hidden in the make-up of the oil. Research has shown that emu oil is phospho-lipid deficient. Human skin will not allow phosphorous to penetrate. Emu oil’s lack of phosphorous seems to be the reason for it’s high penetration factor. Emu oil is 70% unsaturated, with approximately Oleic Acid, up to 20% Lenoleic Acid (Omega 6) and up to 2% Linolenic (Omega 3). All of these acids are believed beneficial for the human skin and body.

EFFECTIVE WAYS TO USE
NATURAL EMU OIL

BATH – add 5-10 drops to soothe, relax and moisturize your body. After a hot bath apply extra oil if necessary, while your pores are open.

FOOT BATH – Soak sore, tired feet in warm- hot water with 3-4 drops of Emu oil added. Soak until water cools. Massage oil into feet after soaking for added relief.

MASSAGE – use enough Emu Oil to cover area and massage. After a few minutes use other oils if desired, such as Emu oil mixed with essential oils to provide extra benefits to muscle area.

BANDAGES – add a drop of Emu oil to promote healing of scrapes and cuts.

BURNS- whether it is a minor burn or sunburn, applying Emu Oil will soothe and reduce both the pain and redness as well as help prevent blistering.

DRY CRACKED SKIN – apply Natural Emu Oil 2 – 3 times a day until condition improves. Continue using Natural Emu Oil or Hand & Body Lotion once or twice a day to help prevent reoccurrence of skin condition.

SPRAINS, STRAINS & SPORT INJURIES – making a compress using Emu Oil then applying or heat treatments provides great benefit to the muscles and joints. Using Emu Oil for a massage prior to exercising may reduce risk of injury.

EMU OIL & OTHER OILS – Emu Oil can be mixed readily with other products, both cosmetic and medicinal. Essential oils, muscle and joint rubs, pain type products; etc. mixed with Emu Oil usually provides greater overall benefits.

One drop of Emu oil will cover the back of your hand. 3 –4 Drops are used for a neck massage. Benefits of this oil may be experienced with muscle and joint area in a day or two, however it is the long term effect that is desired. If use of the oil is discontinued, problems will return.
