Miss Audrey is a Montessori-trained music-lover who loves exploring and learning with children.
She's been studying music since she was 3 years old, starting with Kodaly Orff and Suzuki and then moving onto private piano and theory lessons. She reached Gr. 10 piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music and also learned basic guitar in high school.
Audrey obtained her Montessori certification in 2012 and worked at an international kindergarten (1/3 of their curricula was Montessori) for 1.5 years in Hong Kong. She's also tutored children in English since high school for almost 20 years. Growing up in Vancouver and having lived in Hong Kong for 7 years, Audrey is fluent in English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin.
She is also the co-founder and organizer of the first Global Day of Play: Cardboard Game Challenge in Hong Kong, helping foster creativity and play in children from 2012-2014.
Currently, she volunteers at Dixon elementary in Richmond with a Kindergarten class, and helps out with the coffee shop at her church in downtown called Westside.
When Miss Audrey is not working with children or volunteering, she is a major foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants (and taking pictures of her food!). She also enjoys travelling abroad, road trips, having high tea, watching movies and checking out local farmer's markets and fairs.
