Hello!

My name is Melanie and I have both grown up with and owned dogs my entire life. I absolutely love them! All breeds all sizes.

I have a single level home with a large backyard space for your pup to explore. I do have a dog of my own, Penny, my sweet American Bulldog. She may be large but is a lover of all animals and people. She can't wait to make friends with your fur baby.

I do work full-time and while I am not at home your dog will either stay in my large kitchen with tons of toys, water and a comfy bed or be crated. I have a few different sized crates if your pup would be more comfortable in one . Please feel free to bring your own as well if you'd like. My dog is crate trained and stays in her crate when I am not home. We have tons of dog toys and beds to keep your pooch comfy while they stay. But please feel free to bring anything from home that will make your dogs stay more comfortable.

While staying with me, your fur baby will get a morning play time in my backyard to tire everyone out before I leave. As soon as I am home from work we will set out for a nice long walk around the neighborhood, Your dog will have all access to the backyard while I am home and Penny makes for a great playmate as well. On the weekends we will take a morning walk and an evening walk guaranteed and maybe a few in between if need be and we always have tons of play time out back.

I do have a daughter who is 7. She is also a dog lover and a very good little trainer. She is very good with our Penny and is able to help out as well. I do ask that if your dog has had any child aggression issues that you look for alternate care as I would not want to create a situation like that within my home. On that note, your pet will never be left unattended with my daughter at all to minimize any potential issues. We also have two cats, but this will not cause any issues as the cats can live downstairs while your pup is with us.
